Allison Elizabeth Scaggs, 62, of Waverly, Ohio passed away October 29, 2024 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 24, 1962 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Evert Bates and Mary Ann Primer Baker of Waverly and her late second father Gary "Poppy" Baker. On July 4, 1995 she was united in marriage to Jason Scaggs who survives. Also surviving are her loving family and her musical family.  She was the lead singer for Rose Alley, Mindchaser, Kill Jacket and Bioscrew and was a member of the Groove.  She was incredibly loving and loved animals of all kinds. Allison wrote her own music, poetry and a novel.  She was a collector of books and words. And because of that ability she was asked to join MENSA.
