Anna Eleanor Penn, 86, of Pearland, Texas formerly of Otway, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Memorial Hermann SE Hospital in Houston.  She was born May 14, 1937 in Jasper, Ohio to the late George and Freda Davis Ellenburg.  On September 10, 1958 she was united in marriage to Gerald Penn who preceded her in death on April 29, 2003.  Surviving are her children, John Penn and wife Holly of Pearland, Texas, Elizabeth Penn Adair, James Penn and wife Michelle of Redding, California and Gerald Penn of Franklin, Texas; five grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ethel List of Vermont.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Smith and a brother, James Edward Ellenburg.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Oswego Cemetery in Otway, Ohio with Rev. Jimmy Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29th at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.
