Elizabeth Stephens, 93 of Piketon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Four Seasons of Washington Court House.  She was born on December 20, 1930 in Osborn, Kentucky the daughter of the late Edward Leonard Osborn and Laura Roberts Osborn.  On March 17, 1948 she was united in marriage to Earl David Stephens who preceded her in death.  Surviving are four sons, Anthony W. (Juanita) Stephens of Piketon, Kenneth L. (Sandra) Stephens of Piketon, Michael Ray Stephens of Leesburg and Danny E. (Shieryl) Stephens of Piketon; eight grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Stephens, Amy Stephens, Lacey Davis, Dustin Davis, Christopher Stephens, Whitney Stephens, Jennifer Stephens and Joann Stephens and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Otis, Kenneth, Sam, Norman and Forest Osborn, her sisters, Ruth Hamilton and Orpha Dalton, a half-brother, Fred Nunemaker and a half-sister, Olive Hughes.

Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, canning, taking care of the cattle and living of the farm.  She also loved taking care of her family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Jack Shepherd officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Bridge Street in Waverly.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
