Barbara Ellen Beekman, 56, of Lucasville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Adena Pike Medical Center.  She was born June 26, 1966 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Wade Ellis and Suzie Brown Ellis.  On June 6, 2008 she was united in marriage to Robert "Turk" Beekman who survives.  Also surviving are daughters, Sonya (David) Madden of Lucasville, Brittany (Matthew Kelley) Hoffer of Chillicothe and Melissa Edgington of Portsmouth; stepsons, Johnny Beekman of Peebles, Cheyenne Beekman of Pike County and Bo Beekman of Pike County; grandchildren, Audriana (Pooh), Aryana (Shug), Aleigh (Sis), Amiah (Nater), Amelia (Bean), Mattayla (Matilda), Madison (Maddie), Ethan, Dennis, Jordan, Tyghra (Dayshawna); two great-granddaughters, Willow and Laken-Grace; and 9 siblings.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 15 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Per the family masks will be required to attend the service.
