Barbara June Lapp, 66 of Waverly, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Legacy of Chillicothe.  She was born on March 8, 1957 in Washington Court House to the late Tim Lapp and Phyllis Parker Nance.  Surviving are her siblings; Robin (Tom) Durham of Piketon, Susanna (Gene) Newland of Waverly, Jeff (Tammy Kohler) Lapp of Waverly and Mark (Russell Songer) Lapp of Florida; step children, Levi Wade of Iowa, Christopher Wade of Iowa and Susan Wade of Iowa; grandchildren, Kenzie Steele, Morgan Steele and Rebecca Steele; daughter-in-law, Deanna Steele of Iowa; special uncle and aunt, Kenneth (Evelyn) Dewitt of Frankfort and numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

The family would like to thank the Friends at Bristol Court Apartments, Passport, Homecare Network, Adena Hospice and Legacy of Chillicothe for the care they provided to Barbara.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Pike County Shrine Club, 121 Progress Drive, Waverly.
