Beatrice Lavonne Rhoads, 85, of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born August 31, 1936 in Ratcliffsburgh, Ohio, daughter of the late Randal William and Julyna Beatrice Scott Smith.  On August 1, 1955 she was united in marriage to Daniel Rhoads who preceded her in death on December 21, 2004. Surviving are five sons, Jeff (Patty) Rhoads of Waverly, Mike (Kristen) Rhoads of Chillicothe, Mark Rhoads of Waverly, Phil (Melinda) Rhoads of Waverly and John (Amy) Rhoads of Chillicothe; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; a brother, Herb Smith of Chillicothe and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kristi Rhoads, two brothers, Charles Smith and Randal Smith Jr. and two sisters, Jean Elliott and Dorthea Huffman.

Beatrice was co-owner of Rhoads Meat Market with her husband Dan, she retired from Mills Pride but her favorite title was Mom.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with her sons, Jeff Rhoads and Mike Rhoads officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Bridge Street in Waverly, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m.
