Benita Glee Adkins, 61, formerly of Waverly, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 after a long illness at Carecore at West Moreland in Chillicothe.

Benita was preceded in death by her grandparents; Orvel and Dorothy Evans; father, Alvin Adkins, step father, Olaf Jenkins; mother, Connie Jenkins and her brother, Terry Adkins.  She is survived by her two children; Benjamin Lowe and Kelly Lowe of Indiana; siblings, Rhonda Smith, Greg Adkins and Candy Adkins.

Benita was a graduate of Waverly High School.  After high school she attended culinary classes and loved to cook.  Benita loved her family, music and making arts and crafts.

A burial for the family and friends will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Massieville at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
