Bertha Lee Vest, 85 of Georgetown, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1938 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late Charles Girdler and Minnie Carter Davis. On December 15, 1951 she was united in marriage to Dallon Vest who preceded her in death on June 9, 2011. Surviving are her children: Dallon (Vicky Bauer) Vest, Jr. of Cincinnati, Fred (Lori) Vest of Rarden, Wayne (Lisa) Vest of Peebles, Debbie (Keith) Lowe of Peebles and Julie Vest of Georgetown; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; siblings, James (Gail) Davis of Wamsley, Daisy (Fred) Evans of Peebles, Mary Smith of Portsmouth and Nancy Volk of Peebles. In addition to her parents and husband, Bertha was preceded in death by her children; Walter Lee Vest, Gary Vest and Larry Vest and sister Patty Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Michelle Roepke officiating with burial to follow in Oswego Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
