Betty Jean Lambert, 87, of Pike County, Ohio passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born March 16, 1934 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Walter and Emma McBee Adams.  On April 2, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ralph Lambert who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Lambert and husband Burgess Hallums of Cincinnati, Ohio and Rhonda Lambert of Grayslake, Illinois; grandchildren, Grace Hallums, Reed Hallums, Holly Pack and Emma Bechtold; great-grandchildren, Mason, Vander and Zane; and sisters, Bonnie Massie and Karen (James) Smith.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Adams.

Betty was the valedictorian of Western High School class of 1952. She was the school librarian at Parker Elementary and later became the Administrative Assistant for the County Board of Education.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor John Huffman officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
