Billie Joe Green, Jr., 58, of Waverly, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was born on April 11, 1968 in Homestead, Florida to the late, Billie Joe Green, Sr. and Lillie Mae Penn Newland. Surviving are his children; Billy (Keisha) Green of Waverly and Caleb Cyrus Green of Waverly; 1 grandson; 1 granddaughter; siblings, Deloris (Terry) Smith of Waverly, Judy Church of Kentucky and Elwin Newland of Waverly and the mother of his children; Wendy Leaker of Piketon. In addition to his parents, Billie was preceded in death by his brothers; Joe Green, Danny Green and Frankie Green.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Brian Tackett officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Friday.

The family askes in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
