Candy Marie Borders, 65, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing Center.  She was born July 20, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Pearl and Ruhama Doughty Groce.  On August 5, 1983 she was united in marriage to Thomas Borders who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Tomie (Kenneth) Hughes of Chillicothe, Tracy (R.D. Brown) Borders of Circleville and Derryk (Deanna Whitehead) Borders of Manchester, Ohio; grandchildren, Remington, Keith, Riley, Gauge, Hunter, Dakota, Skyla, Kasey, Lacey, Kennedy, April, Jerry, Connor and Gabriel; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margie Spradlin;a brother, Chuck Hadley; adopted daughters, Amanda Feltner and Jenna Sweat; her mother-in-law, Joyce Borders; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 16, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Jeremy Schinkle officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Latham Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 15 ^th at the funeral home.
