Elizabeth "Carol" Chandler, 75, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.  She was born July 16, 1949 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Red Scott and Wanda Yeager.  On October 18, 1966 she was united in marriage to Jerry Cleve Chandler who preceded her in death on June 1, 2013.  Surviving are her children, Patrick Chandler (Johnny) of Waverly and Julie Cochenour (Mark) of Waverly; grandchildren, Koty Chandler, Hunter Cochenour, Abby Cochenour and Addison Cochenour; brothers, Michael Scott (Leah Steel) and Daniel Betkey (Sandy); a sister, Sandy Bickers (Michael); her special companion, Toby; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at Vanguard Ministries in Piketon, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Carol's name to SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
