Carolyn Elaine Keaton, 75, of Lucasville, Ohio passed away Sunday January 22, 2023 at the Pavilion at Piketon.  She was born May 22, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late LT Howard Stewart and Arminta Boggs Stewart. Surviving are her daughters, Eveline Keaton, Carleen Marshall and Sarrenia Norman and husband Charles; sisters, Beverly Blair, Sherry (Leonard) Gault, and Kim (Chuck) Harris; brothers, Joseph Gibbs and Jeffery Stewart; 7 grandchildren, Shane Keaton, Thomas Riley, Vance Keaton, Ashley Nichols, Aaron Keaton, Sharon Keaton and Katheryn Riley; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Keaton; three children, Larenda Lynn Keaton, Andrea Pamela Keaton and Elaine Sonya Keaton; sisters, Diana Russell and Paula Stewart; and a brother, Steven Gibbs.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Donald and Maggie Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the funeral home.
