Charles Edward Willett, 89, of Waverly, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born on October 24, 1933 in Chillicothe, Ohio son of the late George W. Willett and Hazel Bennett Willett.  On January 4, 1953 he was united in marriage to Violet Vivian Koski Willett, who preceded him in death on December 22, 2012.  Surviving are three children, Jason Willett of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Karla Cutler of Piketon, Ohio and Iris Chaney of Waverly and eleven grandchildren.  In addition to Charles parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Willett, two daughters, Charlene Clifford and Paula Payne, and a granddaughter, Marcia Cottrill.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Road with Charles Dewitt officiating.  Military honors will be provided by American Legion Merritt Post 142 of Waverly. Family will receive friends at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
