Daniel Matthew Nesser, 46, of Vass, North Carolina formerly of Pike County passed away Monday, October 31, 2022.  He was born October 23, 1976 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Dan (Sandra Williams) Nesser of Aberdeen, North Carolina and Georgina (Terry Galloway) Rudd Nesser of Piketon.  He is survived by his wife, Landon Russell and two children, Page and Matthew Nesser of North Carolina; sister, Angie Nesser of Toledo, Ohio; brother, Jonathan (Crystal) Nesser of Waverly; grandparents, George and Maryann Rudd of Waverly; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by a half-brother, William Seymour; and grandmothers, Norma Rudd and Betty Beekman.

Daniel is a 1995 graduate of Piketon High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Keith Richardson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
