Danny Burton, 59, of Waverly passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022.  He was born on November 23, 1962 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Thomas Earl and Sola Isaac Burton.  Surviving are his children, Laci Burton of Chillicothe, Brandon Burton and fiancé Pawnee Murray of Chillicothe and Katie Burton of Florida; grandchildren, Leila, James, Rosa and Marlianne; siblings, Sharon Hackworth and husband Terry, Terri Burton, David Burton, Stacy Hensley and husband Clarence, and Scott Burton; special friend, Veronica Breitenbach; special nephew, Logan Bolen of Waverly and numerous aunts and uncles.  In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Earl, Shawn and Earl Lee Burton, and a sister, Pamela Sue Burton Myers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Boe Tackett officiating.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
