Darren Glenn Stephens, 54, of Chillicothe, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 8, 2024. Darrin was born on April 8, 1969, to Ralph and Linda (Harris) Stephens in Portsmouth, OH. On November 3, 2015. Darrin married the love of his life Tina Marie (Thomas) after a 7-year courtship. They adopted their puppy Hazel in September 2022.

Darrin is preceded in death by his Father Ralph Glenn Stephens and his Father-in-law Robert (Bob) Erwin Thomas

Darrin is survived by his loving wife Tina Marie and their puppy Hazel; his mother, whom he loved dearly, Linda Stephens~Distel of Portsmouth; Sister Beverly Stephens, Cincinnati, OH;  Angie Smith of Lucasville, Carl Dwayne (Sherry) Distel of South Webster, Darin (Amy) Distel of West Portsmouth, Wayne (Debby) Stewart of Lucasville, Jennifer (Eric) Mills of Bainbridge, John (Robin) Stewart of West Portsmouth, brother-in-law Daniel (Emma) Thomas of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 16 nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles

Darrin was a grateful follower of Jesus Christ. He loved his wife Tina and their puppy Hazel. Darrin loves being outdoors tinkering with his trucks caring for his 6 acres in Chillicothe, his property in Lucasville, and helping his mom. In his free time, Darrin enjoyed motorcycles, tractors, off-roading, building and flying radio-controlled planes, boats, Ski doos, paragliders, guns, and was an Amateur Radio operator. With his many interests, he found his most joy in spending time with Tina.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Dwayne Distell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
