David Garold Eichenlaub, 70, of McDermott, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at his home.  He was born July 16, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio son of the late Frank Garold and Nancy Margaret (Brown) Eichenlaub.  Surviving are daughter, Kathy Sparks of Portsmouth, Ohio; two brothers, Roger (Betty) Eichenlaub of South Shore, Kentucky and Jerry (Hollie) Ray Eichenlaub of Lucasville, Ohio; a sister, Debra Jane Taylor of Otway;  and two grandchildren, Marty Sparks of Minford, Ohio and Billy Eichenlaub of Lucasville.

David was retired from Shawnee Lodge working in maintenance, a school bus driver for Northwest School District for 20 years and a Union Township Trustee.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
