David Jerry Hobbs, 84, of Otway, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at his home. He was born January 2, 1941 in Anderson, Indiana son of the late Donna Mae Hobbs.  On September 1, 1990 he was united in marriage to Donna Horton Hobbs who survives.  Also surviving are his step-children, Jonathan David Small, Joseph Warren Small, Jason Clifford Small and Thomas James Small, Jr.; and his nephews and nieces.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Rod and Nathan Hobbs; and his sister, Sue.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
