Dennis Ray Tolle, 86, of Waverly, Ohio passed away March 12, 2024 at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, Ohio.  He was born November 13, 1937 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Dorse and Dolly Mahafey Tolle. On September 11, 1956 he was united in marriage to Helen Hougland Tolle who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Pamela (Ronnie) Beekman of Piketon, Ohio, Vicky Tolle of Chillicothe and Dennis Tolle II of Waverly; and sisters, Rita Braniff of Waverly, Alice Higginbotham of Blanchester, Ohio and Bonnie Houghland of Peebles.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Colburn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Terry Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
