Dillis Davis, 89, of Lucasville, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born on June 6, 1933 in Portsmouth, Ohio daughter of the late Kelly and Cora Bradford. She was united in marriage to John Edward Davis who preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Sherry Lynn Harris of Bainbridge, Ohio; a son, Anthony Craig Davis of Lucasville, Ohio; a son-in-law, William Barnes of Bellbrook, Ohio; grandchildren, Tracy Lynn (Brian) Armentrout of Jamestown, Ohio, Tyler Scott Barnes of Marysville, Michigan, Jeri Lynn Schulte of Beavercreek, Ohio, John David (Jessica) Davis of Minford, Ohio, Tommy Davis of Coryville, Tennessee, Kristian Rae Davis, Lucasville, Ohio, Brittany Black of South Point, Ohio, Craig Davis of Lucasville, Ohio, and Keirah Davis of Lucasville, Ohio; great grandchildren, Britanie (Jim) Berger of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jordan (Daniel) Burk – Malarky of Fairborn, Ohio, Halleigh Davis of Minford, Ohio and Jonathan Davis of Minford, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Anna Beryl; and many very special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Dillis was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Ann Barnes and a son, Johnnie Ray Davis.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with John Daniels and Paul Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Oswego Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
