Donald Eugene Smith, 70, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born June 20, 1953 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Donald Ellis and Sarah Tolliver Smith.  On May 15, 1993 he was united in marriage to Orla Smith who preceded him in death on June 21, 2016.  Surviving are his children, Perry (Karen) Smith and Nicholas (Crystal) Smith; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Josslynn, Rosalee, Serenity, Nova and Kaylee; step-children, Tammy, Jenny, Jane, Gary, Carey, Junior, Darry and Sherry; siblings, Perry Smith, Joyce Tackett, Tom (Brenda) Smith and Carolyn Tackett; nephews and nieces, Jonathan, Danny, Kim and Chris; and many step-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brother, John Smith.

Donald proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corp.
