Doris Lee Wilson, 81, passed away on February 15, 2024. She was born on February 27, 1942 in Rarden, Ohio to the late Rudolph Lewis Syroney and Irene (Koch) Syroney.

Doris is survived by three sons: James Wilson, Steven Koch and Ariel Ayala. She also leaves behind one grandson, Christopher Taylor Wilson and two great-grandkids, Caroline and Jesse James. Additionally, she is survived by one brother, Ronald & Pam Syroney: Three nieces, Rance (Kevin) Rankin, Sharon Syroney, and Jaclyn Syroney; Five nephews, Forrest Syroney, George (Lori) Syroney II, Gregory (William Scott) Syroney, and Jared (Stephanie) Syroney and many great nieces and nephews as well as cousins. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Stanley Jay and George Beatty Syroney I and one sister Nancy Syroney Stiles.

Doris was proud to say she was part of the first graduating class of Northwest High School in 1959. She was always very active in her community of Rarden when she lived there working on the women's auxiliary. She had a strong sense of pride in her work and thoroughly enjoyed it. Over the years, Doris held various jobs including working at William's shoe factory, Honda of Rarden, as a hairdresser at Design Plus, and recently at Kroger in the bakery/deli for over 20 years. Her friendly demeanor and love for storytelling made her a beloved figure, always ready to share stories and bring laughter to those around her. Beyond her own family, Doris dedicated herself to helping others, particularly children in the community. As an aunt figure, Doris embraced not only her nieces and nephews but also all the kids she encountered.

Doris will be extremely missed by her family and all the countless life's she touched.
