Earl Emmitt Johnson, Jr., 56, of Waverly, Ohio sadly passed away on the evening of August 21, 2022.  He was born January 14, 1966 in Waverly to Janet L. Jenkins Johnson and Earl E. (Rose) Johnson, Sr. who survive.  Also surviving are his only son, Masen J.E. Johnson; one sister, Victoria L. Johnson; one brother, Douglas M. Johnson; three step-brothers, Tommy (Roxanne) Stevens, Dave (Kim) Stevens and Jeff (Steph) Stevens; and 3 step-sisters, Betty (Rick) Hughes, Angie Stevens Smith, and Leeann Stevens Perdue, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  Earl Jr. was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Ann (Salyers) Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Steve Wallingford officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
