Eddie Carl Adams, 62, of Peebles, Ohio passed away October 8, 2023 at his home.  He was born August 29, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Burlin Eugene and Lily Leota Kirk Adams.  On December 8, 1987 he was united in marriage to Vicki Sue Copas Adams who preceded him in death on January 3, 2015.  Surviving are a brother, Gary (Katie) Adams of Okeana, Ohio; sisters, Pam (Dan) Ferguson of Rarden, Ohio and Linda Tackett of Beaver, Ohio; a step-daughter, Misti (Nick) McGlone; a grandson, Hunter McGlone; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Adams.

Eddie was a corrections officer and retired in July of 2019 from Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Daniel Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow in U.P. Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
