Evelyn Ruth Beekman, 85, of Beekman Ridge Road, Peebles, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  She was born November 30, 1935 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Verl Jones and Cora Beavers Jones.  On April 1, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dewey Beekman who preceded her in death on January 22, 2021.  Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Beekman and wife Pam of Piketon and Mark Beekman and wife Kim of Waverly; grandchildren, Megan (Brent) Williams, Andrew Beekman, Jody (Tammy) Beekman, Bradley Beekman and Samantha (Wayne) Gates; great-grandchildren, Emerson Grace Williams, Zander Beekman, Jayla Beekman, Christopher Gates and Chelsea Gates; a brother, Darrell (Barbara) Jones; and two sisters, Mildred Lambert and Loretta (Wayne) Barker.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Jones and sisters, Shirley Grooms, Norma Jean Jones, Helen Jones, Verna Mae Woods, Carol Moore, Marilyn Leeth and Carma Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
