Evelyn Rhoads, 77, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born August 14, 1946 in Highland County, Ohio to the late Estill and Dorothy Brown Ison.  On September 30, 1966 she was united in marriage to her husband of 57 years, Lenard Rhoads who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Greg Rhoads and wife Susan of Hillsboro, Ohio, Katrina Traylor and husband George of Waverly, Bridget Barker and husband Brian of Waverly and Ashley Camp of Louisburg, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ben Rhoads, Alex (Annie) Rhoads, Justin Traylor, Kayla Barker, Kyndra Barker, Kelsea Barker and Liam Bunt; and brothers, Travis (Lynda) Ison and Dale (Connie) Ison.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mt. Latham Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
