Fay Ward, 84, of Piketon, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on May 30, 1937 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Thomas Roberts and Dollie Newsome Roberts.  On November 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Herman Louis Ward who preceded her in death on February 28, 2015.  Surviving are her children; Tim (Connie) Ward of Waverly, Thomas (Serena) Ward of Waverly, Bradley Ward of Piketon, Cathy Mcquay of Piketon, Deborah (Arthur) Steppe of Defiance, Diana (Bill) Plunk of Waverly and Darlene Ward of Piketon; grandchildren, Kevin Ward, William Plunk and fiancé Jessica, Mark (Kelli) Bloniarz, Matthew Bloniarz, Alicia Penwell, Brandon Ward, John Cassady, Faith Ann Ward and Tommi Ward; great grandchildren, Drake Bloniarz, Bella Ward, Emmilly Ward, Bradley Ward, Trenton Penwell, Evalynn Bloniarz and Braxton Bloniarz; sisters, Joyce Cutlip of Waverly, Eleanor Anglemeyer of Piketon, Gloria Whitt of Piketon, Sherry Haynes of Piketon and Daisy Evans of Hubbard.  In addition to her parents and husband, Fay was preceded in death by brothers; Nelson Roberts and James Roberts.

Fay was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Holy Church of Christ and Christian Union.

Funeral services with be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
