George William Shelpman, 80, of Bainbridge, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home.  He was born April 29, 1941 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Glenn William and Delsie Floyd Lightfoot Shelpman.  On April 5, 1968 he was united in marriage to Jaquelyn Louise Shelpman who preceded him in death in 2007. Surviving are children, Danny (Pamela) Shelpman of Bainbridge, George (Amy) Shelpman, Jr. of Hillsboro and Tammy (David) Ball of Chillicothe; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Shelpman of Chillicothe; and sisters, Karen Moore of Florida, Margaret Smith of Washington Court House, Ohio, Mary Shelpman of Columbus and Cathy Shelpman of Florida.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Shelpman; granddaughter, Amber Cox; a nephew, Lee Shelpman; sisters, Frances Fisher and Martha Shelpman; and a brother, Peter Clyde Shelpman.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at Bobblett Cemetery in Londonderry, Ohio.
