Geremy Scott Vanderpool, 33, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Monday March 4, 2024 at his home.  He was born June 22, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Timothy Wayne Vanderpool and Amanda (Mike) Milliron Thivener of Waverly.  Also surviving are his fiancé, Alyssa Clark of Piketon; a son, Carter Clark; a brother, Phillip (Cassie) Vanderpool; and siblings that he raised, Andrew Mayton, Anna Maynard, Timothy Vanderpool Jr., Jessie Vanderpool, Jasmine Vanderpool, Blake Vanderpool and Bonnie Zimmerman; grandparents, Michael "Pap" Milliron, Sharma (Rob) Gilbert and Marie Vaughn; an aunt, Sheila Milliron; and uncles, Michael (Danita) Milliron and Jerry Paul Vaughn.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an uncle, Jamie Milliron.

Geremy worked at RKJ Construction and Fabrication and most recently at Pixell in Chillicothe.  He was an EMT and a former dispatcher.  He also worked as a volunteer firefighter for Pebble Township.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
