Gregory "Greg" Allen Dever, age 47, husband of 12 years to Christy Dawn Daniels Dever, passed away at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  Greg was born December 15, 1976 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Roger Allen Dever of Circleville, Ohio and the late Sandra Walls Dever.

Greg was an engineer with Montaplast in Frankfort. Greg loved sports of all kinds and shared that interest with his boys, coaching them in soccer.  He was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and an even greater fan of Star Wars, with his favorite quote being, "May The Force Be With You."

Including his wife Christy, and father Roger, Greg is survived by his children, Lukas Allen Dever and Christopher "Blake" Dever, both of Lawrenceburg, Brianna Nicole Fugitt of Columbus, OH and John Christopher Fugitt (Katie) of London, OH; a grandson, Roman Fugitt; his sisters, Sherry Dever and Karen Dever-Nungester, both of OH; his step-mother-in-law, Susie Hounshell; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Including mother, Greg was preceded in death by his father-in-law, David Hounshell; his mother-in-law, Nancy Young; and his step-father-in-law, Danny Young.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
