Harold Spears, Jr., 70 of Lucasville, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.  He was born in Perry County on March 4, 1954 to the late Harold Joseph Spears and Mable C Nutt Baggele.  Surviving are his spouse of 54 years, Laura Stiers of Portsmouth; sons, Charles Richard Craig, Jr. of Lucasville and Michael Joe Craig of Lucasville; a daughter, Shalenia Hogle; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; siblings Delmer Spears, Terry Spears, Rose Spears and Betty Akins.  In addition to this his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his daughter Roxanne Maria Spears; his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
