Hattie Marie Montgomery, 87, of Otway, Ohio passed away November 30, 2025 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.  She was born June 8, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Everett and Helen Lauderback Webb. On January 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to Leroy Montgomery who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Rhonda (Brian) Hughes of Otway; grandchildren, Andrea (Michael) Freeland, Jessica (Michael) Caudill and Amanda (Nathan) Charlton; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Nolan, Tayler, Noah and Aaliyah; and a son-in-law, Paul John Powell.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Powell and great-granddaughters, Natalie and Emily Charlton.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Garvin Cemetery with Danny Powell officiating.
