Hazel Evelyn Mustard, 89 of Waverly passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024.  She was born on January 29, 1934 in Pike County Ohio to the late Leo Lambert and Mary Magaline Lambert.  On June 6, 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert L Mustard who preceded her in death on August 18, 1990.  Surviving are her children; Robert Paul Mustard of Waverly, Lee Leo Mustard of Waverly, Cleo (Lorentus) Ross of Auburndale, Florida, Faye (Allen) Russell of Waverly, Evelyn Blair of Peebles, Janet Campbell of Waverly and Ruth Mustard of Waverly; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd Lambert of Piketon and William Lambert of Waverly.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Hazel was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Evelyn Blair and John Campbell; siblings, Calvin Lambert, Alva Paul "Joe" Lambert, Robert Lambert, Ada Jackson and Patti Owens and son-in-laws, Tim Campbell and Harry Blair.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Dave Hopkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
