Helen Marie "Sis" Tolle, 85, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born August 22, 1938 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Harold and Gladys Trainer Houghland. On September 11, 1956 she was united in marriage to Dennis Ray Tolle who preceded her in death on March 12, 2024.  Surviving are her children, Pamela (Ronnie) Beekman of Piketon, Vicky Tolle of Chillicothe and Dennis Tolle II of Waverly; and siblings, Orley (Bonnie) Hougland, Johnny (Joetta) Houghland, Margaret Seeling and Rosalee Helterbran.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters, Norma Fields and Mary Wolford.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Terry Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
