James Earl "Bub" Reed, 52 of Waverly, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Riverside United Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born on October 10, 1972 in Chillicothe to James C Reed and Lora Elizabeth Gee Reed of Waverly.  Surviving are his children; Zachary (Keirsten) Reed of Piketon, Kayla Reed of Waverly and Jordan Reed of Portsmouth; granddaughter, August Reed; siblings, Renee (Donald) Shoemaker of Chillicothe, David (Michelle) Reed of Jackson and Rocky Reed of Piketon; special niece, Aleicia Reed of Piketon; uncle, Eugene (Chris) Gee of Piketon and aunt Tootsie (Edford) Coffee of Fallsburg, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Francis (Nora Augustine) Gee and Edgar (Lillian) Reed and several aunts and uncles.
