Janet Ratliff, 78, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her home.  She was born November 7, 1944 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Herman and Thelma Newland Mustard.  On April 9, 1964 she was united in marriage to Jesse Ratliff who preceded her in death on June 26, 2021.  Surviving are her sons, Mark (Crystal) Ratliff of Piketon and Michael (Amy) Ratliff of Piketon; five grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Risner, Brittany (Justin) Polek, Dustin Ratliff, Cody (Mindy) Ratliff and Dalton Ratliff; six great grandchildren, Gracie Risner, Paisley Risner, Daniel Burgett, Samuel Ratliff, Adriel Ratliff and Emmitt Polek; and sisters, Carolyn King and Linda Blanton. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Bland.

Janet loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.  She loved her church family at the Lakeview Baptist Church.  She also enjoyed working with and growing sunflowers and she loved camping.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Keith Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and for one hour prior to the service on Monday.
