Jason Michael Lansing, 44, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 after a short battle with cancer at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born February 13, 1979 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Mike (Karrie) Lansing of Wellston, Ohio and Anita (Bill) Colvin of South Bloomfield, Ohio.  Also surviving are his daughters, Kaitlin Marie Lansing (Brendan Davis) of Waverly, MaKenna Paige Smith of Waverly, Raegan Arianna Lansing of Piketon and Laila Dawn Lansing of Piketon; a granddaughter, Scarlett Marie Davis; siblings, Jamie (Erin) Lansing of Waverly, Jackie (Justin) Foster of Piketon, Raymond (Stephanie) Lansing of Hillsboro, Josh (Casey) Lansing of Chillicothe and Jennifer Lansing of Waverly; step-brother, Michael (Brandy) Colvin of Newark, Ohio; his fiancé, Chasity Bliss of Piketon; two step-children, Taylor Bliss of Piketon and Jordan Bliss of Beaver and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides.

Jason was a millwright and also an avid fisherman. He loved his girls and loved taking them fishing.  He was also a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
