Jeffrey Gene Giffin, 66, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at Signature Health Care in Chillicothe.  He was born December 14, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Wilbert Gene Giffin and Ruth Ann Slaughter Giffin of Canal Winchester, Ohio who survives.  Also surviving are his wife, Sara Hatfield Giffin of Waverly; a daughter, Kaley (Steven) Ross of Piketon, Ohio; sons, Derek (Megan) Rainey and Jimmy (Renee) Rainey; grandchildren, Ava and Hunter Ross, Kyndall, James, Leah, Leanna, Owen, Emmett and Juniper Rainey; a sister, Joan Taylor; nephews, Chris Canter and Brent Cain; and many aunts.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Giffin.

Jeffrey proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 142 of Waverly.
