Jenean Delores Brummett, 86 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Kettering Health Dayton.  She was born on July 25, 1937 in Sciotoville to the late Harold Holsinger and Flora Alice Williams Holsinger.  She was united in marriage to Paul C Brummett who preceded her in death.  Surviving is her son David Brummett of Dayton; grandchildren Bobby, Brittany, Jeremy and Samantha and siblings, Ronald (Janet) Holsinger of Waverly and June (Richard) Payne of Piketon.  In addition to her husband and parents, Jenean is preceded in death by three children; an infant son, Mary Alice Smith and Paul Brummett Jr. and her brother Robert Holsinger.

Jenean enjoyed working and sewing for plays at church and visiting the rest homes and shut-ins. She was a devout Christian and loved reading her bible when she could no longer make it to church for health reasons.  Jenean loved sending cards to her friends and family.  She enjoyed being a hair stylist for neighbors and church friends.  She worked at various companies and will be sadly missed by all who touched her life.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. to the service at the funeral home.
