Jesse Ratliff, 77, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.  He was born on March 16, 1944 in Ross County, Ohio to the late Curtis Ratliff and Cora Tackett Ratliff.  On April 9, 1964 he was united in marriage to Janet Mustard Ratliff who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Mark (Crystal) Ratliff of Piketon and Michael (Amy) Ratliff of Piketon; five grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Risner, Brittany (Justin) Polek, Dustin Ratliff, Cody (Mindy) Ratliff and Dalton Ratliff; six great grandchildren, Gracie Risner, Paisley Risner, Daniel Burgett, Samuel Ratliff, Adriel Ratliff and Eilee Ratliff; and one sister; Faye Higley of Ashtabula, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by two brothers; James Curtis Ratliff and Wayne Franklin Ratliff.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 2, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Christian Assembly Church, 6733 Inveness Court, Hillsboro, Ohio with Pastor Keith Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Road in Waverly. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
