Jetta Ann Hamilton, 72 of Portsmouth, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  She was born on November 29, 1951 in Otway to the late Ray Edward Davis and Fern Viola Honaker Davis.  Surviving is her son; Chester Hamilton of Portsmouth; grandson, James Reeves of West Union and her best friend, Brenda Pertuset of McDermott.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings; Phillip Ray Davis and Bonnie Jean Free.

Jetta was a hard worker and enjoyed the art of woodworking and building things.  She was a volunteer at the Otway Fire Department and enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going to tractor shows, she loved to fish and was a lover of animals especially dogs.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral in Otway with Pastor Bob Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
