Jody Keith Joseph, 49, of Waverly passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born January 26, 1972 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Kenneth Ray Tackett of Waverly and Vicki and Bruce Castle of Waverly.  Also surviving are a daughter, Erin (Brittany) Walburn of Lucasville, Ohio; a step-daughter, Kearstin (Taylor) Leslie of Piketon, Ohio; grandchildren, Charlie Sue Leslie, Ryken Leslie, Ivie Leslie and Dax Walburn; his fiancé, Miranda Legg of Waverly; a brother, Eric (Missy) Tackett of Otway, Ohio; a sister, Holly (Danny) Nance of Piketon; two step-brothers, Brett Castle of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Ray Pence of Piketon; an aunt, Ranae Wells; cousins, Jason (Nicole) Joseph and Miranda (Tammy Mullens) Joseph; nephews, Deacon and Cole Tackett and Saxon Nance; a great nephew, Nolan Nance; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hager and Gran Joseph and a step-brother, Clint Castle.

Jody was a member of the V.F.W Post #2832 and American Legion Post #142.  He was also a Vinyl Graphics Installer at Buckeye Decal Installation of Waverly.

Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Immediately following the burial family will gather at the home of Vicki and Bruce Castle.
