Joseph Bland Gunter, 47 of Piketon passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on November 4, 1975 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Charles Gunter and Betty Law Gunter.  Surviving are his children; Adam Gunter of Piketon, Johnathon Gunter of Piketon, Michael Benson and Felicia Gunter; brother, Charles (Penny) Gunter of Peebles; aunt, Mary Law of Lancaster; fiancé Brittany Madden of Piketon; nephew, Kendall (Amber) Harris; nieces, Kayla (Ryan) Benson and Harley (Austin) Mullett; great nephews, Beau Mullett and Hudson Harris; and a great niece, Holly Harris.  In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his uncles; Ralph Bland Law and Eugene Law; and aunt, Linda Montgomery.

Arrangement are in the care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
