Joy Juanita Taylor, 91, of Waverly passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at her daughter's residence.  She was born on March 17, 1931 in London, Ohio to the late Red Frend Miller and Rena Bell Gibson Miller.  She was united in marriage to George Edgar Taylor who preceded her in death.  Surviving are her children; Patricia and husband Leon Bevins of Lucasville and Ricky Taylor of Waverly; granddaughter, LeAnn and husband Darrel and great grandson, Isaac Lee Allmon.  In addition to her husband and parents, Joy was preceded in death by her brothers and sister in laws; Merle (Nancy) Miller, Harold (Jenny) Miller, Robert (Doris) Miller, Paul (Ruby) Miller and Charles (Dorothy) Miller.

Joy was a longtime member of Hammon Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
