Joyce Lou Greene, 70, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.  She was born July 1, 1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Imogene Allen Bucy.  On February 8, 1975 she was united in marriage to Gary Greene who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Scott Greene of West Palm Beach, Florida; daughter-in-law, Hannah Greene; and grandchildren, Arlo and Abbie.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Jason Greene.

Joyce was a loan clerk at First National Bank of Waverly for 28 years and then served as a teacher's aide at the Pike County CTC for 9 years.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
