Juanita Brewster Ames, known to all as Kay, age 96 of Kingston Ohio died on August 3rd 2021 at Bristol Traditions in Waverly, Ohio.  Born September 24, 1924 in Idaho, Ohio daughter of the late Ralph E. and Elsie Hughes Brewster.  She worked several years as a bookkeeper, but was better known for her baking skills.  She knew who loved sour cream cookies or her famous lemon pie and she loved watching her family and friends enjoy them.  Preceding her in death were her parents, husband John Ames, sons Jerry and Larry Ames, stepson, Billy Ames, brothers Ralph "Sonnie" Brewster, Donald E. Brewster, and sister Joan McMillen. She is survived by sisters-in-law Yvonne Brewster and Esther Ruth Brewster as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and others who loved her dearly.  A special thanks to Jayna and Scott Mead.  Funeral service will be held at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home on Friday August the 6th at 12:00 with Pastor Troy Ervin officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior at 11:00.  Burial will follow at Kirkwood Cemetery in London, Ohio.
