Katherine M Way, 72, of Waverly, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at SOMC Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born on August 3, 1953 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to the late Mary Johnson Currant.  On March 21, 1980 she was united in marriage to Christopher Way of Waverly.  In addition to her husband, Katherine is survived by her son; Cameron (Mandy) Way of Waverly; siblings, Laura Long, Debbie Bohigian and Alan Johnson and her step father, Larry Currant.

In addition to her parents, Katherine is preceded in passing by her sisters; Sherry Johnson and Cindy French.
