Kathryn Marie Barney, 77, of Waverly, Ohio, formerly of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.  She was born September 11, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio daughter of the late Emanuel Redoutey and Edna Diehlman Redoutey.  Surviving are a daughter, Sherry (Tracy) Tomlison of Waverly; brothers, William Redoutey of McDermott, Ohio, Charles Robert "Bob" (Mary) Redoutey of McDermott; sisters, Judy (Mike) Howard of Fairborn, Ohio and Lena (Danny) Payne of McDermott; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher Scott, nephew, William Redoutey, Jr., sisters, Mary Fern (Harlan) Smith and Ruth Ann (Andy) Lute and a niece, Mary Caitlin Redoutey.

Kathryn was a graduate from Northwest in 1960 and was employed at William Shoe Factory and Martings.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.
