Kenny Edwin Shoemaker, 68, of Otway, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home.  He was born November 12, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Charles Edwin Shoemaker and Marilyn Ann Miller Boldman.  On April 15, 1972 he was united in marriage to Sandy Lee Shoemaker who preceded him in death on October 11, 2012.  Surviving are daughters, Angela Marie Griffith and husband Bob of Otway, Andrea Dawn Shoemaker and Jerry Ball of Hillsboro, Ohio and Amandy Ann Taylor and husband Mark of Otway; grandchildren, Brittany Throckmorton, Kayla Griffith, Meranda Gilley, Charles Gilley, Dalton Taylor, Dustin Taylor and Haleigh Ross; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Harlon, Ruger, Kylie, Craven, Colt and Emi; sisters, Charlene Grizzle and Sheila Humes; and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Gilley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Burial will follow in Hackworth Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
